1. The International Training Centre of the ILO collaborated with the Fair Wear Foundation to organize the Gender Forum on October 2017, a practical training and knowledge-sharing event. 
2. The Sustaining Competitive and Responsible Enterprises (SCORE) Programme is an ILO global programme that improves productivity and working conditions in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Several SCORE Trainings in Bolivia, Peru and Colombia focused on gender inclusion and violence in the workplace have taken place in 2017 or are scheduled for 2018.

In 2017, the project TRIANGLE in ASEAN conducted trainings on women’s empowerment and gender equality for all TRIANGLE staff and implementing partners in each of its six target countries – Cambodia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Viet Nam –. These were attended by 173 people and included sessions on gender awareness, gender biases and stereotypes, different dimensions of discrimination and gender responsiveness.
2. A series of information sessions took place in early 2018 in selected Arab States to prepare ILO constituents to participate in the International Labour Conference discussions on a possible international instrument on violence and harassment in the world of work.
3. The ILO country Office in Dakar organized a round table discussion entitled “A world of work without violence and harassment”, which led to the constitution of a working group on the issue and the creation of a questionnaire to identify situations of violence and harassment. 
4. The ILO organized a workshop entitled “Equality of opportunity and treatment in the workplace” on the occasion of the fourth meeting of the Economic and Social Commission of the Economic and Monetary Union of West Africa (UEMOA). 
5. From January 2017 to March 2018, Better Work has provided five training activities on sexual harassment prevention in Bangladesh, involving a total of 547 participants.

  • Two-hour session in October 2019 on Convention No. 190 and Recommendation No. 206, held at ITC for the global technical team of the ILO Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work Branch
  • Learning- track workshop on Tackling Violence and Harassment in the World of Word: Developing a Policy, held on 18-20 November 2019 for participants -- including representatives of ILO member States, and workers’ and employers organizations – during the ITC Gender Academy. The ITC Gender Academy is a global international event on gender, work and employment, gathering experts and successful practitioners. Cutting-edge topics are presented and discussed in a series of master classes with simultaneous interpretation into English, French, Spanish and Arabic. A range of elective workshops, including the sessions on violence and harassment, offer additional insight into specific subjects, develop skills and provide room for application and knowledge-sharing.
  • From February to April 2019, six one-day courses on preventing and addressing gender-based violence in garment supply chains held for Fair Wear Foundation member brands in Zurich, Stockholm, Mechelen, Amsterdam, The Hague and Cologne

ILO’s Labour Standards Department, in cooperation with ILO’s field offices, provides technical advice on policy and legislation, and conducts training on sexual harassment legislation and policies for constituents. Recently work has been undertaken in this area in the Asian region, in particular Malaysia, China and Pakistan, as well as in the context of the annual training at the ILO training centre in Turin on international Labour standards and gender equality. ILO also implements technical cooperation projects on child labour, migration, trafficking and forced labour in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
