The UNHCR Global Strategic Priorities report from 2019 for 2018 shows how UNHCR improved support to known survivors of SGBV in 44 situations and maintained the level of support in 39 operations. UNHCR improved data management and analysis of SGBV, which strengthened programming and enhanced services for survivors and those at risk.

In Venezuela UNAIDS promoted clinical management of rape and together with UNFPA supported trauma sections in clinics to ensure that services are available for victims of rape. 

In Jamaica UNAIDS is associated Agency of the Spotlight initiative and supports community-led organisations in the response to cases of sexual violence against most marginalised populations.

ESCWA, in partnership with the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (IADC), has begun implementing, “Support to Women Refugees from Syria and Vulnerable Women and Girls in Host Communities in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon” (2018-2020). The project seeks to engage women refugees from Syria and vulnerable women and girls in host communities in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon to better advocate for their rights and exercise their voice to improve their status and reinforce their resilience.

In November 2018, WFP and UNFPA in Afghanistan signed an agreement to work together in providing information and services to female and male beneficiaries of WFP's food assistance.

Provides food assistance to women in shelters survivors of GBV.

Early and child marriage was the focus of a project implemented in Pakistan by the Sindh Community Foundation. The overall goal was to ensure that girls in 30 villages in three districts of Sindh province were better protected from being forced into early marriage. In the final evaluation, it was found that the project had increased knowledge and shifted attitudes towards the protection of girls from early marriage.
