QUOTE
"I urge Member States and other stakeholders to consider [as one of] five related and transformative measures: an emergency response plan to accelerate the eradication of violence against women and girls, as a priority, which the United Nations will support, backed by a global campaign to eliminate any social norm that tolerates, excuses or overlooks violence against women and girls, in line with target 5.2 of the Sustainable Development Goals. This will also be central to the multi-stakeholder effort to significantly reduce all forms of violence worldwide"
